Iterating on my previous project (see below), I am currently working on a web app for diabetes management.

The app allow users to calculate the quantity of carbohydrate in their meal, register the amount of insulin injected, and note if the resulting blood glucose level was correct.

General Information :

    • The app calculate  insulin ratio based on these information.
    • The app can be installed entirely in local, with no dependence on local service.
      It  can also be installed as a web service running on any server if the user wish for it.
      This allow the user to remain the sole owner of its data.
      If a medical team decide to use it for its patients, the app is compatible with most data-syncing apps.

Technical  information :

    • the app is based on the TiddlyWiki platform
    • adjustments of the suggested injection are automatic, using weighted averages
    • parameters of the weighted averages are easily adjusted (number of meal to use for calculations, percentage of adjustment…)
    • access to these critical parameters can be password-controlled
    • the ability to add new entries for carbohydrate calculation, including custom recipes, is always accessible to the user.

Current development stage :

    • for now, the app is only available in french
    • the app is curently in its alpha stage, undergoing some debugging following tsesting by a selected number of users.

Carbohydrate and insuline injection calculator for Diabetic people

Peoples suffering from an unstable diabetes face a double task in managing their illness.

    • First, like all diabetic peoples, they need to calculate the quantity of Carbohydrates in their food with a good precision.
    • Second, they need totake into accound the qwick variation of their sensibility to insuline, with sometimes up to 50% variation in the required injection of insuline for the same quantity of Carbohydrate consumed.

This tool was created to combine a carbohydrate calculator and a insuline injection calculator (with the possibility for the user to integrate new custom recipes).

The user can just save the quantity of carbohydrate per meal and the corresponding injection, before indicating his post-meal glycemia, and the tool will recalculate his sensibility to insuline with a five day ponderated mean value, allowing an easy and safe re-evaluation of his doses, without the need for an endocrinologist to intervene.

Using google sheet made it both easy to access, free, and sharable with the doctor. It was created for patients of Saint-Brieuc’s hospital.

Mining Session Manage

This tool allowed easy management of mining session, with the chief-operator being able to manage up to 9 different ships,  their cargo, and assign them to specific refinery or to escorts.

Red-Wire manager

Re-wire Initiative allowed managing the founding of amonth long mining campaign, allowing participants to register their session and benefits through a formular, ask for found for material acquisition, while also providing the managers of the organisation with an interface and tools required to overview the situation and make informed decisions regarding the investments of the groups
